NEET SS Counselling 2023: Candidates Can Now Resign Without Forfeiture

NEET SS Counselling 2023: Medical Counselling Committee has released a notice regarding resignation requests from candidates who have been allotted seats through Round 1 of seat allocation of INI SS Entrance Examination conducted by AIIMS for admission in DM/M.Ch/MD (HA) courses for INIs namely AIIMS New Delhi and other participating AIIMS, JIPMER, PGIMER, NIMHANS and SCTIMST.

"INI allotted candidates who want to RESIGN/ NOT REPORT their Round-1 seat allotted through MCC should send their INI-SS RANK LETTER along with following undertaking (Copy attached) to MCC on email id: colleges.superspeciality@gmail.com upto 10:00 A.M of November 30, 2023. Candidates who send mails along with required documents will only be allowed to RESIGN/ NOT REPORT ON ALLOTTED SEAT WITHOUT FORFEITURE upto 05:00 P.M of December 2023," said MCC's statement.

However, such candidates will not be eligible to participate in further rounds of SS Counselling 2023 being conducted by MCC, added the official statement. 

The resignation facility will be provided from 2 pm of November 30, 2023, up to 5 pm of December 3, 2023.

"Candidates who are allotted in INIs and wish to resign their seat may approach their allotted college to resign and collect their original documents within stipulated time. It should be ensured by the candidates that the resignation letter is generated ‘Online’ from the MCC portal by the college authorities. Any offline resignation taken by the college will be treated as ‘Null & Void’. The INI allotted candidates who do not report on their allotted seat will be allowed Free Exit only if they send mails along with required documents within stipulated time," added MCC's statement.
