The following table brings the merit lists of NEET SS result 2022 for each group or speciality courses.

Common counselling for admission to all DM/MCh/DrNB Super Specialty courses will be conducted at the National Level by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

A total of 19 questions from 10 groups have been identified as technically incorrect. The table below brings the number of incorrect questions in each group.

NBE has stated that the NEET SS 2022 questions were reviewed by experts from each speciality and a total of 19 questions were found to be technically incorrect. Full marks have been awarded to all candidates who appeared in the exam for these questions, irrespective of the fact whether these questions have been attempted or not attempted by the candidates.

Foreign nationals who wish to pursue a super speciality course from India need to appear for the NEET SS 2022 examination and clear it. Such candidates do not need to be registered with the MCI/ SMC, provided he/ she is duly registered with the appropriate authority in his/ her own country.

On securing a seat through NEET SS, the MCI may grant temporary registration to these candidates for the duration of the postdoctoral course. This registration will be temporary and shall be limited to the medical college/ institution to which he/she is admitted. 

The eligibility criteria for NEET SS exam for the Indian National candidates are as follows:

• Candidate must possess a postgraduate degree (MD/MS/DNB/ Equivalent) from a recognised institution
• Candidates who complete their postgraduate degree on or before September 15, 2022, will be eligible for NEET SS 2022
• He/ she must be registered with the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council

The following institutes will not accept NEET SS scores:

• AIIMS, New Delhi
• PGIMER, Chandigarh
• JIPMER, Puducherry
• NIMHANS, Bengaluru
• SCTIMST, Thiruvananthapuram

NEET SS 2022 scores will be accepted for admission to MD, MS, MCh and DNB courses offered at:

• All private medical colleges/ universities/ deemed universities
• Armed forces medical services institutions

All the questions in this examination will be PG exit level. There is no fixed syllabus for NEET SS 2022. The questions can be asked from all the topics that have been covered during both, the undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications. However, the subjects that need to be prepared will be limited to the feeder course and super speciality course selected by the candidate.

The NEET SS 2022 marking scheme is given in the table below.

NBEMS will declare Group wise merit list i.e. there will be a separate merit list for each Question Paper Group. There shall not be any equating/scaling and normalization. The merit shall be generated strictly on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate and application of the prescribed tie-breaking criteria.

No, NEET SS 2022 scores cannot be rechecked. NBE mentions, "There will be NO re-evaluation or rechecking or re-totalling. Requests for re-evaluation/re-totalling shall not be entertained."

Candidates need to check the NEET SS result 2022 by entering the following information:

• NBEMS password or NEET SS 2022 registration password

Candidates need to upload and present the following documents during the verification process of the NEET SS 2022 counselling process.

• MBBS Degree Certificate
• MD/MS/DNB Degree Certificate
• Permanent Registration Certificate for MBBS/MD/MS/DNB issued by NBE

• A valid photo ID proof (PAN card/Driving License, Voter ID, Passport/Aadhar Card)

NEET SS counselling 2022 will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for the seat allotment process at the participating institutes. It is expected that the counselling process will be announced in October.

Through NEET SS 2022 scores, as many as 2,447 seats of Doctors of Medicine (DM) and Masters of Surgery (MCh) in 156 government and private medical colleges, universities, deemed universities, as well as Armed Forces Medical Service (AFMS) institutions will be offered.

The NEET SS 2022 scores will be accepted for admission to the following courses:

• Doctor of Medicine (DM)
• Master of Surgery (MS)
• Master of Chirurgiae (MCh)

Last year, NBE had revised the NEET SS cutoff by 15 percentile for each category and speciality. The following table brings the speciality-wise cutoff marks for NEET SS.

According to NBE, the NEET SS result 2022 is scheduled to be declared by September 15. Hence, it is unlikely that the declaration of result will get postponed.

Only the qualifying candidates' names will feature on the NEET SS merit list 2022.

The NEET SS score will remain valid for one academic year. Hence, the NEET SS 2022 score will be valid for 2022-23.

NBE prepares separate rank lists for each super speciality course. The rank list is prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the examination and application of the tie-breaking criteria, wherever required.

In case there is more than one candidate securing the same score, NBE will implement the NEET SS Tie Breaking criteria which are given below:

• Candidates with fewer incorrect responses in the examination will be ranked higher than the others
• If the number of incorrect responses is the same, a candidate with a higher aggregate in Part B of the question paper will be ranked higher than the others
• If the marks obtained in Part B are equal, a candidate with fewer incorrect responses in Part B of the question paper will be ranked higher than the others
• If all the above parameters are equal, the candidate who is older in age will be ranked higher than the others

The NEET SS result 2022 timing has not been announced yet. It is likely that the result will be declared by evening.

There are a total of 13 specialities which are covered under the NEET SS exam. Till last year, the number of groups was 32.

The total score of NEET SS 2022 is 400.

• Select ‘NEET SS’ from the tabs given on the home page

• Select the result PDF for the respective super speciality course

• Scroll through the list to find the NEET SS 2022 roll number

• Check the marks and rank obtained in the PDF

• Save the NEET SS 2022 result for future reference

NEET SS 2022 cutoff will be released along with the merit list on September 15.  The cutoff is the minimum percentile of marks required to qualify for the exam in that particular super speciality. As per the information bulletin, the qualifying NEET SS 2022 cutoff is 50 percentile. 

The NEET SS 2022 scorecard is expected to be released soon after the release of the results. The scorecard download process generally starts a day or two after the result has been declared.
