NEET UG 2022 aspirants' hunger strike going on for exam postponement
NEET UG 2022 aspirants continue their hunger strike to demand PM Modi's intervention for exam postponement.
NEET UG 2022 postponement: After protesting and demanding exam deferment for days, yesterday the candidates started their hunger strike to intensify the protest. The aspirants now want to meet PM Modi claiming that no one else is hearing their issues.
All India Students Dental Association/DENTODONTICS tweeted, "Hunger Strike is going on for #NEETUG2022 issue regarding there postponement of 40 days & seeking permission from PM"
While parents of the aspirants and students are demanding more days for students to prepare for the examination, the government has also made it clear that they will conduct the examination on July 17, as per the schedule. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan recently said that a majority of students have already prepared for the exam. However, the protesting students do not agree with the minister.

The reasons given by the students for this demand are - there is insufficient time for preparation due to delay in NEET UG 2021 counselling, and it is clashing with other entrance exams including CUET and JEE exams.

The students seem not convinced with the government and only intensify their demand to postpone the examination. following are some related tweets:
