Medical Counselling Committee is all set to commence the NEET UG 2022 counselling round 1 registration tomorrow, October 11, at mcc.nic.in.

NEET UG 2022 Counselling: Round 1 Registration Commences on October 11

As per the NEET UG 2022 counselling schedule released by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), the registration for NEET UG 2022 counselling round 1 will commence tomorrow, October 11, at mcc.nic.in for AIQ seats. The last date to register for round 1 is October 17, 2022.

NEET UG 2022 counselling will be held for 15% AIQ seats in government colleges and 100% in deemed/central universities. 

Eligibility to participate in NEET UG 2022 counselling

The candidates must have qualified for the NEET UG 2022 exam and will be eligible for counselling. From this year onwards, J&K NEET UG 2022 candidates will also be eligible to participate in AIQ counselling. Also, J&K is contributing 15% of its MBBS seats to AIQ, which the local candidates are opposing.

For participating in NEET UG 2022 counselling, the candidates must have registered for the counselling process and all NEET 2022 qualified candidates can participate in the NEET UG 2022 counselling.

How to register for NEET UG 2022 counselling round 1

Following are the steps, the candidates need to follow to register for NEET UG 2022 counselling round 1:

  • Go to the official website mcc.nic.in
  • On the home page, click on the tab stating ‘UG Medical Counselling’
  • Then click on ‘New Online Registration for Round 1’
  • Enter the details such as NEET roll number, registration number, name, mother's name, and date of birth
  • Pay the NEET UG 2022 counselling fee and security fee
  • Save the receipt for future references

There will be four rounds of NEET UG 2022 counselling - Round 1, Round 2, mop-up round and stray-vacancy round.
