NEET UG 2022 Exam “Stands As On Date”, says NTA

As per reports, a NEET UG 2022 aspirant who had written to the National Testing Agency (NTA) to defer the exam has got the reply that the exam “Stands As On Date” and there are no changes in its schedule.

NTA has said, "The NEET (UG) 2022 Examination stands (as on date) to be conducted on 17 July 2022, keeping in view the academic interest of millions of students who have filled up application form for this exam."

The aspirant had written, "I am a student of NEET UG 2022. I am getting very depressed as I have got less time for preparation as NTA scheduled NEET UG on July 17, 2022. This time is not enough for students. It's my request to you to please postpone NEET UG at least by 6 weeks!," as reported by The Chenab Times.
NEET UG 2022 postponement demand continues on Twitter
Yesterday, the students ran a Twitter campaign under the #DharmendraPradhanHelpUs to request exam postponement and the aspirants are still demanding exam deferment.
Following are a few related tweets:
"Respected Sir, We CBSE and ISC students as well as some state board students fo not have adequate time to prepare for the NEET UG 2022 examinations, our whole class 11 and class 12, got over with covid19 where we could not concentrate adequately on our studies."
Other tweets read:
"If we have to wait for the next session for 6 months at home then it is much better to postpone the NEET UG 2022 by 40 days. #JUSTICEforNEETUG Please sir we request you pls postpone neet to September."
"Many students comes with hypertension, anxiety. So accept as a request of AIIMS STUDENT"
NEET UG 2022 Exam Details
The NEET UG 2022 admit card is expected in the first week of July and the examination will be conducted on July 17 for three hours and 20 minutes. While the examination date is nearing the demand for postponement is also growing.
Nearly, 18 lakh (Approx) students have registered for the exam for admission into MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BVSC & AH courses.
