Mistakes to Avoid While Filling the NEET 2023 Application Form
While filling the NEET 2023 application form, candidates must ensure that they are extra cautious and avoid the following mistakes.
-
Entering incorrect mobile number or email address: This is one of the most common mistakes that applicants commit during the NEET 2023 application process. During the registration process, they enter the wrong mobile number or email address as a typo. Doing so would be a grave mistake as applicants will not receive the OTP to confirm their registration or application process.
-
Giving wrong address: In the NEET 2023 application form, students have to enter their permanent and present addresses separately. In case both are different addresses, one needs to enter those separately and if both are the same, then the checkbox has to be clicked indicating the permanent and present addresses are the same. In case one clicks the checkbox despite having a different present address, then this would affect their NEET 2023 question paper medium and exam city selection in the next stages.
-
Selection of Incorrect question paper medium: Based on your present and permanent address, applicants will be given the choice of NEET question paper medium or language in a drop down list. Students should be very careful while selecting the medium as a wrong selection would affect the entire exam performance.
-
Wrong preference of NEET exam city selection: This year onwards, candidates will have to select two cities in preferential order. While the choice of cities will be limited, candidates must ensure that they select the correct cities in preferential order to get the exam centre allotment in a city of their choice. NTA will try to allot the centre in the first preferred city, hence, selecting the preferred city as the second preference may lead to an inconvenient NEET 2023 exam centre.
-
Not keeping the documents to upload ready: Before starting the NEET 2023 application process, one must keep all the necessary documents ready to upload in the recommended size and format. In case the documents do not fulfill the requisite dimensions, then those would not be uploaded and the application process will be stalled. Hence, it is advised that aspirants check the list of documents and the formats and sizes and keep those ready before starting to fill the NEET application form 2023.
-
Selecting wrong payment mode: The NEET 2023 application fee payment mode is completely online. The various modes of payment include Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking and Paytm. While selecting the mode of payment, one must ensure that the credit/debit card or the bank account has enough credit limit or balance so that the payment can be made without any hassle.
-
Not saving the application credentials and confirmation page: It is a must to save and preserve the NEET 2023 application credentials and the confirmation page after completing the process. This will not only help candidates login successfully in the future but will also serve as proof of application till the admission process is complete.
These are some of the common mistakes which applicants commit while filling up the application form. Hence, candidates must take note of the above factors and avoid these while filling up the NEET 2023 application form. NTA is expected to open the application correction window in the second week of April and release the admit card by the first week of May.
