NEET UG 2023 Counselling: MCC removes Meenakshi Medical College Hospital from round-1 seat matrix

Medical Counselling Committee has removed the Meenakshi Medical College Hospital from the round-1 seat matrix of NEET UG 2023 counselling.
"Candidates participating in NEET UG Counselling 2023 are hereby informed that Meenakshi Medical College Hospital and Research Institute, Enathur, Kanchipuram has not received recognition from NMC for the academic year 2023-24," reads the official notification.
"Hence, the MBBS seats of the above mentioned institute are being removed from the seat matrix of Round-1 of NEET UG Counselling 2023 and clarification is being sought from NMC/ MoHFW. In case, candidates have filled choices for this institute they will not be processed during seat processing of Round-1," added MCC's notification.
MCC released NRI list of eligible candidates for round 1
Candidates can see the NRI list at the official website of MCC - mcc.nic.in. These candidates have been converted provisionally from INDIAN to NRI for the purpose of UG counselling 2023-24 on the basis of scrutiny of documents sent by them to MCC of DGHS. However , the candidates have to produce the same original documents at the time of reporting in case NRI seat is alloted to them, failing which their admission is liable to get cancelled.
NEET Counselling 2023: Latest updates
The NEET Counselling 2023 round 1 seat allotment result is scheduled to be released on July 29, after which, candidates will have to upload documents to the MCC website on July 30.
Documents needed for NEET UG 2023 counselling are - NEET admit card 2023, NEET result 2023 or rank letter, Class 10 mark sheet and certificate, Class 12 mark sheet and certificate, Valid, non-expired and government-issued photo ID proof, Six to eight passport-sized photographs (preferably the same as the one submitted with the NEET 2023 application form), Caste Certificate (if applicable), Disability Certificate (if applicable), and Provisional allotment letter.
