NEET UG 2023 counselling Round 1 institute reporting process is scheduled to end today, August 4. The process started on July 31. Candidates will have to report to the allotted institute physically along with the necessary documents within the stipulated schedule to avoid the forfeiture of the allotted seat.

NEET UG 2023 Counselling Round 1 Institute Reporting Ends Today

NEET UG 2023 counselling Round 1 institute reporting process will end today, August 4. The institute reporting for candidates who were allotted seats in the first round had started on July 31. Candidates who are yet to report to institutes with the necessary documents for verification and completion of the admission process must do it by today.

In case a candidate decides to skip the institute reporting process for the NEET 2023 counselling, they seat allotment offer will be withdrawn. They may participate in the Round 2 counselling of NEET UG 2023 process.

Documents Required for NEET 2023 Counselling Round 1 Institute Reporting

Candidates reporting to the allotted institute for confirmation of the seat must carry the following documents with them:

  • NEET admit card 2023

  • NEET result 2023 or rank letter

  • Class 10 mark sheet and certificate

  • Class 12 mark sheet and certificate

  • Valid, non-expired and government-issued photo ID proof

  • Six to eight passport-sized photographs (preferably the same as the one submitted with the NEET 2023 application form)

  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)

  • Disability Certificate (if applicable)

  • Provisional allotment letter

*Candidates must carry both original and photocopies of the above-mentioned documents.

Documents Required for NRI/OCI/PIO/Foreign National Candidates

The following documents are required for the candidates belonging to NRI, OCI, PIO and foreign national candidates:

  • Passport copy of sponsorer, embassy certificate

  • Sponsorship affidavit (stating that sponsorer is ready to bear the expenses for the whole duration of the study)

  • Relationship Affidavit (Relation of Candidate with the sponsorer)

MCC released the NEET UG 2023 Round 1 seat allotment result on July 30. As many as 22,902 candidates have been allotted seats in the first round. MCC had stated, โ€œIf the candidates wish to upgrade from Round-1 to Round-2 they have to give willingness at the time of reporting to the allotted college.โ€

MCC Invites Seat Contribution from Institutes for NEET 2023 Counselling Round 2

MCC has issued a notice inviting participating institutes to contribute seats for the Round 2 counselling of NEET UG 2023 through the intramcc portal. โ€œColleges/ Institutes where there has been an increase of seats by NMC can contribute the additional seats/ increase in seats on the portal. It may be noted that colleges should not contribute the seats remaining vacant after Round-1or those which have already been contributed in Round 1 as such seats are in the system. Contributing such vacant seats of Round-1 will lead to duplication of seats in the matrix,โ€ the notice stated.

The NEET 2023 counselling Round 2 registration process will be conducted from August 9 to August 14. The choice filling and locking rounds will be conducted between August 10 and August 15.
