NEET UG 2023: Over 20 lakh registered; More female candidates than male
This year, more candidates have registered for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET-UG 2023) exam as compared to previous years. Over 20 lakh candidates have registered for NEET UG 2023, of which there are more female candidates as compared to males. As per officials, nearly 12 lakh female candidates have applied for the medical entrance examination.
As per NEET UG 2023 registration data, a total of 20.87 lakh candidates have applied for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET-UG) exam, which is 2.57 lakh more as compared to last year, an increase of 11.5 percent. Interestingly, there are more female candidates than the male ones.
Officials have revealed that out of the total registrations of over 20 lakhs, nearly 12 lakhs are female candidates, as reported by Mint.
The examination will be held on May 7, 2023, and the NEET UG 2023 admit card is expected to be out anytime soon on the official website neet.nta.nic.in. The document is crucial as the candidates must carry the NEET admit card 2023 at the exam centre. The admit card has many information including the candidate's name NEET Roll Number, photograph and signature, exam centre name and address and exam day instructions.
Once, the National Testing Agency will release the NEET UG 2023 admit card, the candidates will be able to download it from the official website of NTA. On the homepage, the candidates need to click on the link available to download the NEET UG hall ticket. A login window will appear on the screen, in this window, the candidate must enter the login credentials such as the application number and date of birth and then Click on the βSubmitβ button. Next, the NEET UG 2023 admit card will appear on the screen. The candidates can download the NEET UG 2023 admit card and keep it safe for future reference.
