NEET UG 2023 Registration to Begin Soon; Know Exam Pattern, Structure and Syllabus
NEET 2023 registration process is expected to begin soon, tentatively in the fourth week of January. This page brings the detailed NEET exam pattern and syllabus for the aspirants planning to appear for NEET UG 2023 on May 7.
NEET UG 2023 will be conducted on May 7 in exam centres across India and abroad. NTA has not announced any other dates, for registration, admit card, result, etc. It is likely that the NEET 2023 notification and information brochure will be released by January-end. However, aspirants must not wait for the notification to start with the preparation. It is expected that the NEET exam pattern and syllabus will remain the same. In this news, we will bring pertinent information about the NEET exam pattern, structure and syllabus.
NEET 2023 Exam Pattern
NEET is conducted in a paper-pencil-based mode for a duration of 200 minutes. The total duration has been increased by 20 minutes last year in order to give ease to candidates in terms of question selection. The total number of questions is 200, out of which 180 questions will have to be attempted across subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Biology. While all questions in Section A is compulsory, in Section B, candidates will have to attempt 10 out of 15 questions. No marks will be credited or deducted for unattempted or extra attempted questions.
NEET 2023 Syllabus
NTA will release the NEET 2023 syllabus along with the information brochure. It is estimated that the NEET UG syllabus for 2023 will be the same. The syllabus is the same as the Class 11 and Class 12 or the Board exam syllabus.
