NEET UG 2023 stray vacancy round result was scheduled to be out yesterday, September 26, 2023. However, MCC has not released it yet. Also, there is no official information on the reason behind the delay.

The Medical Counselling Committee was expected to release the NEET UG 2023 stray vacancy round result yesterday, September 26, 2023. However, the result is yet to be released and there is no official announcement on the delay.

NEET UG 2023 stray vacancy round registration started on September 21, 2023. Originally the last date of registration was September 23, but it was postponed by a day. Although MCC has not stated any official reason or notice regarding the delay, it may be speculated that postponement in the registration process led to deferral of the seat allotment process. 

Reporting for the NEET UG 2023 stray vacancy round was scheduled from today, September 27, 2023, to September 30, 2023. This is the last and final round of NEET 2023 counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Based on the number of vacant seats, MCC may decide to extend the number of rounds for the NEET UG counselling 2023.

Once MCC releases the seat allotment result, the candidates need to follow these steps to check NEET UG 2023 stray vacancy round result:

  • Go to the official website of NEET counselling – mcc.nic.in
  • On the homepage, click on UG Medical tab
  • Click on the ‘Provisional Result of UG 2023 Round 3’ link under Current Events section
  • Download the PDF document
  • Find your NEET 2023 Roll Number to check your status

“If a candidate is allotted a seat in Stray round, he has to join the allotted seat/college. If the candidate does not join the allotted seat, he/she shall be debarred from the NEET examination for 01 Year along with forfeiture of fees," said MCC's official statement.
