NEET 2024 exam is just around the corner. Students appearing for the exam must check NEET 2024 dress code and common mistakes to avoid during the exam day here. 

NEET 2024 Mistakes to Avoid

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the NEET 2024 exam on May 5. Candidates preparing for the exam must take out time to understand the NEET 2024 dress code for female and male students. Along with the dress code, students must also go through the NEET 2024 common mistakes during the exam days to avoid any discrepancies before and during the examination time. 

NEET 2024 Dress Code for Girls 

NTA has announced the NEET dress code for girls along with the notification and information bulletin. Female candidates shall adhere to the following guidelines on the NEET 2024 exam day:

  1. Female candidates are advised to wear half half-sleeved t-shirt/shirt or kurta.
  2. Students shall avoid wearing fancy clothes to the examination centre.
  3. Metallic/non-metallic jewellery is not permitted
  4. Closed shoes are not permitted during the exam centre. Hence, students must wear slippers and sandals to avoid discrepancies. 

NEET 2024 Dress Code for Boys 

As per the NTA guidelines for male candidates's dress code, the following guidelines shall be adhered:

  1. Male candidates are advised to wear half-sleeved shirts/t-shirt. 
  2. Students are advised to avoid wearing fancy clothing and clothes with many pockets, and zips. 
  3. Students must avoid wearing layers of clothing.
  4. Male candidates are advised to wear slippers or open-toed sandals to the NEET 2024 exam centre. 

NEET 2024: Common Mistakes to Avoid During NEET 2024 Exam

Students shall check the below points and avoid them during NEET 2024 exam day: 

Reaching late at the examination centre: Students are suggested to reach at least 30 minutes before the exam centre opening time. Further, students are advised to visit NEET 2024 exam centre a day before the exam, if time permits. 

Not carrying admit card: Students must check twice whether or not their NEET 2024 admit card is with them or not. No candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall without NEET 2024 hall ticket. 

Starting any new topic: Students shall focus on revising the existing topics instead of starting any new topic during the NEET 2024 exam day. Starting a new topic may lead to confusion during the exam. 

Not following NEET 2024 dress code: Students must ensure they are dressed as per the guidelines issued by NTA. Further, they must ensure they do not carry any piece of paper or any other restricted item in the examination hall. 

Not keeping an eye on the clock: Time management is the key to crack NEET UG 2024. Hence, students must ensure they do not spend abundant time on a single question.
