NEET UG 2024 Re Exam to Be Conducted on June 23 for 1563 Students; Supreme Court Notifies

NEET 2024 re exam will be conducted for 1563 candidates who were given grace marks. Centre tells the Supreme Court that the decision to cancel NEET scorecards of the students with grace marks has been taken. 

NEET UG 2024 Re Exam Date

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the re-exam for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduates (NEET-UG) for 1563 students who were given grace marks. The authorities have notified that the NEET UG 2024 re-exam date is June 23. Further, the Centre has told the Supreme Court that the NEET scorecards of those 1563 candidates, who were allotted grace marks, will be cancelled and those students will be given an option to appear for the NEET UG re exam. 

NEET 2024 Re Exam Results To be Announced By June 30

The centre has told the Supreme Court that the NEET UG 2024 re-exam results will be announced on or before June 30, 2024. However, the NEET 2024 re-exam results will be announced only for 1563 students who have been allotted grace marks and the scorecards will be made available to them respectively. 

NEET 2024 Counselling To Be Conducted As Scheduled 

The Supreme Court of India has refused to hold NEET 2024 counselling amidst multiple petitions of challenging the authenticity of NEET 2024 results. The apex court has decided not to delay the counselling for NEET UG 2024 during the hearing. 

“These candidates will be informed of their actual scores, without compensatory marks. A re-exam will be conducted for the affected 1,563 candidates. Results of those who don’t wish to re-appear will be declared based on their actual marks,” the SC Bench observed.
