NEET 2021 Counselling Mop-up Round List of Candidates Converted to NRI Category

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the list of candidates who have converted their category from Indian to NRI for the mop-up round. As many as 152 candidates have been included in the list. According to MCC, these candidates have been converted provisionally from the Indian to NRI category. The final conversion of the category will be completed after the document verification process. In case candidates are unable to furnish the documents proving their NRI category, their allotment/admission will be cancelled.

MCC states, “The above candidates have been converted provisionally from INDIAN to NRI for the purpose of UG Online Counselling 2021 on the basis of scrutiny of documents sent by them to MCC of DGHS. However, the candidates have to produce the NRI original documents at the time of Reporting in case NRI seat is allotted to them, failing which their allotment/admission is liable to be cancelled."

Documents Required for NRI Candidates for Verification

The NRI category candidates will have to present the following documents:

  • Documents claiming that the sponsorer is an NRI (Passport, Visa of the sponsorer).

  • Relationship of NRI with the candidate.

  • Affidavit from the sponsorer that he/ she will sponsor the entire course fee of the candidate duly notarised.

  • Embassy Certificate of the Sponsorer (Certificate from the Consulate).

  • NEET Score Card of the candidate.

  • NEET 2021 Admit Card.

The registration, choice filling and locking processes for the NEET 2021 counselling Mop-up round are slated to end on March 16. As many as 6,285 MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing seats are available for the third and second-last round of NEET 2021 counselling.
