As the NEET 2021 counselling process is underway, MCC has issued a notice for the male candidates who are selecting female-only colleges for Round 1. Know the details here.

MCC Issues Notice for Male Candidates

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released a notification for the male candidates who are participating in the Round 1 NEET 2021 counselling process. According to the notice, a number of male candidates are choosing colleges/seats for medical and nursing colleges which are for women students only. Such candidates are advised to be careful while choosing the colleges to avoid the cancellation of their choice and increase the horizon of their choice.

Such male candidates must edit their choices and include other colleges and not add the female-only colleges again. “if male candidates have opted for female colleges, such choices will be deleted at the time of seat processing for Round-1, by the system,” MCC has stated in the notice.

Medical Colleges Only for Female Candidates

1. Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi

2. BPS Govt. Medical College for Women, Sonepat

3. Sri Padmavati Medical College for Women (SVIMS), Tirupati

4. Symbiosis Medical College for Women, Pune

Nursing Colleges Only for Female Candidates

1. Ahilya Bai College of Nursing, New Delhi

2. College of Nursing, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi

3. Florence Nightingale College of Nursing, New Delhi

4. College of Nursing, Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi

5. Rajkumari Amrit Kaur College of Nursing, New Delhi

6. College of Nursing, Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi

The NEET 2021 counselling registration and choice filling process are scheduled to end today, January 24. The choice locking process will start at 4 pm and end at 11.55 pm. Before submitting or locking the choices, candidates have to ensure that they have paid the registration fee.
