Despite releasing the NEET UG counselling 2021 provisional seat allotment result of Round 1 on January 27, MCC revoked it soon after citing the reason as a court hearing. No further update regarding the schedule of releasing provisional and final seat allocation results have been stated yet. Know the details here.

MCC Pulls Down NEET 2021 Round 1 Provisional Seat Allotment Result

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) had released the NEET 2021 Round 1 provisional seat allotment result list on January 27. However, the result was withdrawn soon after. Notifying the same on the official website, MCC has stated, “The Candidates participating in NEET-UG, 2021 counselling are informed that the provisional result of round 1 has been pulled down due to the hearing held on 27/01/2022 in W.P. of 2022 in the matter of Gidla Bala Surya Chandra & others v/s UoI & Ors. before the Hon'ble High Court of Judicature at Madras. Candidates are advised to wait for the final result and keep in touch with the MCC website for further course of action.”

In another notice, it was stated that candidates can check the provisional result of NEET 2021 counselling Round 1 seat allocation and in case of any discrepancy, that had to be reported to MCC by sending an email at mccresultquery@gmail.com by January 28, 10 am. The notice had also stated that the final result will be declared on January 28, a day prior to the original schedule of January 29.

However, with the withdrawal of the provisional result, it can be estimated that the provisional result will be declared on January 28 and the final result will be announced on January 29, as per the original schedule. There may be further changes in the schedule as well and candidates must keep checking the official website of MCC for further details.
