NEET 2021 Mop-up Round Choice Locking Process Between 3 pm to 11.55 pm Today

The NEET 2021 counselling Mop-up Round dates were extended by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on March 16. The choice filling process will be conducted on March 20, from 3 pm to 11.55 pm. The registration and choice filling process was conducted till March 19. The registration process of NEET 2021 Mop-up counselling was conducted in two phases. While the original deadline was March 14, it was extended twice, till March 16 and March 19.

The registration process of the last phase of the mop-up round ended on March 19 at 5 pm and the registration fee could be paid till 7 pm. The choice filling process ended at 11.55 pm on the same date.

How to Do Choice Locking Process for NEET 2021 Counselling

Candidates have to follow the steps given below to complete the choice locking process:

  • Visit the official website of MCC – mcc.nic.in

  • Click on the tab ‘Online Registration’ at the bottom of the page

  • Log in with the registration credentials

  • Click on the tab indicating Choice Filling

  • Check the entered choices carefully and submit

  • Click on the lock button

  • If a candidate does not lock the choice submitted by him/her, it will be automatically locked as per schedule

  • Take a printout of the locked choices

Points to Check During Choice Locking Process of NEET Counselling 2021

Candidates must note the following points before the final choice locking process:

  • The registration process including the payment of the registration fee is complete before proceeding towards the choice filling and locking stages.

  • Male candidates must ensure that they do not select female-only colleges.

  • Once the choice locking process is completed, there will not be any option to revoke or change the choices. Hence, candidates must be careful during this process.

The seat allotment result is expected to be released on March 23. The institute reporting process will be open from March 24 to March 29. The stray vacancy round result is scheduled to be declared on March 31, followed by institute reporting from April 1 to April 4.
