The NEET 2021 counselling Mop-up round registration process has started on March 10, as per the schedule. The last date to register for the second last round of NEET 2021 counselling is March 14, 12 noon. This is the last round of the NEET UG counselling 2021 where the registration process is applicable. In the next and final round, i.e. the Stray Vacancy round, there will not be any registration round. The choice filling process will start tomorrow, i.e. March 11. The choice filling and choice locking processes will end on March 14 at 11.55 pm. The seat vacancy is also expected to be released soon by MCC.

Eligibility Criteria for Participating in NEET 2021 Mop-up Round

Candidates will have to fulfil the following criteria for the mop-up round registration:

  • Candidates who exited with forfeiture of fees from Round 2.

  • Candidates who were not allotted a seat in Round 2.

  • Candidates who secured a seat under reserved quota and whose second round of allotted seats got cancelled during the document verification on reporting for admission. 

  • Candidates who reported at the allotted institute during the second round of allotment and submitted willingness for mop-up round up-gradation as Yes.

Step by Step Registration Process

Candidates need to follow the steps given below to register for the Mop-up round:

  • Visit the official website of MCC – mcc.nic.in

  • Click on the tab indicating NEET UG Counselling followed by the ‘Online Registration’ tab.

  • Enter details such as name, registration number, personal details, academic details and the details mentioned on their NEET result.

  • Pay the NEET 2021 registration fee through debit/credit card/net banking/UPI modes.

The participating institutes will verify the submitted registrations on March 15 and March 16 and the seat allotment process will be done on March 17 and March 18. The seat allotment result for the Mop-up round will be released on March 19 and selected candidates will have to report to the institutes between March 20 and March 27.

Earlier, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) had released the list of admitted candidates in Round 1 and Round 2. So far, as many as 17,216 candidates have taken admission.
