NEET 2021 Counselling Choice Filling for Round 1 to End Today

The NEET UG 2021 counselling process is underway and the last date of choice filling is January 24, 11.55 pm. The registration process is also ending today. Candidates who have completed the registration process but have not filled in the choice yet must do it by today. The choice locking process will commence at 4 pm today and will end at 11.55 pm, along with the choice-filling deadline. Candidates will have to complete the choice filling process for NEET 2021 Round 1 counselling by visiting the official website of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

How to Complete NEET Counselling 2021 Choice Filling Process

Know the step by step procedure to complete the choice filling process.

  • Visit the official website of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) at www.mcc.nic.in.

  • Click on the ‘Online Registration’ tab located at the bottom of the page.

  • Log in with the registration credentials.

  • Click on the link of Choice Filling.

  • Select the programmes.

  • Go through the list of participating institutes and available seats.

  • Enter the choice of seats from the participating institutes as per preference on the basis of which seat will be allotted.

  • Check the entered choices carefully and submit.

  • Candidates can modify, add or remove as many colleges as they wish to during the choice filling process prior to the choice locking process.

Instructions Regarding Choice Filling Process

  • The choice filling process can be done only after the completion of the registration fee payment.

  • Candidates are advised to go through the list of available seats and prepare a tentative list as per their preference of colleges, before filling the choices online.

  • Male candidates must ensure that they do not select female-only colleges such as Lady Hardinge Medical Colleges, New Delhi; BPS Govt. Medical College for Women, Sonepat; Ahilya Bai College of Nursing, New Delhi, to name a few.

The verification of the submitted applications will be done from January 25 to January 26 and the seat allotment process will be done from January 27 to January 28. The result for the Round 1 seat allocation will be declared on January 29. The reporting to institutes has to be done between January 30 and February 4.
