The final seat allotment result of Round 1 NEET 2021 counselling is expected to be declared on February 2, as the provisional result was announced on February 1. The institute reporting process is also scheduled between February 2 and February 7. Know the details here.

The NEET 2021 counselling Round 1 final seat allocation result will be declared soon by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The provisional result was declared on February 1, as per the earlier schedule. In the provisional seat allocation result, as many as 20,064 candidates were allotted MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing seats. After the announcement of the final merit list, selected candidates will have to download the seat allotment order and exercise the options to accept the seat or surrender it to upgrade and participate in the second round of NEET 2021 counselling.

How to Check NEET UG Counselling Seat Allotment Result

Candidates will have to follow the steps given below to check the seat allotment result of Round 1 of NEET UG counselling 2021.

  • Visit the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in.

  • Click on the link indicating the Round 1 seat allotment result

  • Find your Roll Number on the PDF document

  • Download the Seat Allotment order by logging in with the registration credentials

What After Checking the Seat Allotment Result?

After checking the seat allotment order, candidates have to either accept it or surrender/upgrade it to be eligible to take part in Round 2 of the NEET 2021 counselling process. The options that can be exercised by candidates are as follows:

  • Report to the allotted institute and complete the admission process.

  • In case candidates are not satisfied with the allotted seat, they can opt for ‘Upgrade’ and then participate in the Round 2 counselling process of NEET 2021.

  • Those who do not wish to take admission to the allotted seats and not participate in the further rounds of counselling also can opt for the Free Exit option wherein they will get a refund of the security deposit.

The reporting to institutes is scheduled from February 2 to February 7. The registration process for Round 2 will commence on February 9 and will conclude on February 14.
