Instructions Regarding NEET 2021 Counselling Registration Process

While filling out the NEET 2021 counselling registration form, several candidates have faced a number of issues regarding OTP, category conversion, college selection, etc. MCC has issued the following guidelines with regard to these issues:

  • OTP – Candidates will receive the OTP for proceeding towards filling the registration form in their registered mobile number and email id which they had entered during the NEET 2021 registration. They must ensure that their registered mobile number and email id are functioning properly. Candidates are advised to download the ‘Sandes’ app on their mobile phones where they will receive the OTP as well.

  • Conversion of Category: Candidates can convert their category by clicking on the ‘Reset’ button given on the first page of the registration form. They must keep in mind that the category conversion process is irreversible and hence they must use this facility carefully.

  • Selecting Colleges: A number of male candidates have selected female-only colleges. Such male candidates who have exercised choices for ‘Female only Colleges’ need to edit their choices. However, if male candidates have opted for female colleges, such choices will be deleted at the time of seat processing for Round-1, by the system.

The verification of the submitted applications will be done from January 25 to January 26 and the seat allotment process will be done from January 27 to January 28. The result for the Round 1 seat allocation will be declared on January 29. The reporting to institutes has to be done between January 30 and February 4.
