NEET UG Counselling 2022: Mop-up Round Registration, Choice Filling and Locking to End Tomorrow

NEET UG mop-up round counselling 2022 registration is ending tomorrow, 11 AM. The registration fee will have to be paid by 3 PM. The process was started by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on November 28. The choice filling process is also underway and it will also end tomorrow, at 11.55 PM. The choice locking process will be conducted on December 2 from 3 PM to 11.55 PM. MCC has also activated the Reset/Registration tab till 9 AM tomorrow. By utilising this, candidates will be able to change their registration detail or previously set quota choice. This is the last round of the NEET UG 2022 wherein candidates are given the option to register. In the last and final round, the Stray Vacancy round, MCC will directly release the seat allotment result and there is no provision for registration.
How to Register for NEET UG 2022 Counselling
The following table brings the steps to register for the NEET UG counselling 2022 Mop-up round:

Visit the official website of MCC – mcc.nic.in

Click on the tab indicating NEET UG Counselling followed by the ‘Online Registration’ tab.

Enter details such as name, registration number, personal details, academic details and the details mentioned on their NEET result.

Pay the NEET 2022 counselling registration fee through debit/credit card/net banking/UPI modes.
Choice Filling Procedure for NEET UG 2022
The choice filling procedure for NEET UG 2022 Counselling is given below:
- Visit the official website of MCC – mcc.nic.in.

Click on the Login tab and enter the User ID and Password.

Click on the link ‘Available Choices’.

On clicking the “Choice Filling” icon, the choices as per individual criteria of eligibility would be displayed to the candidate on the left side basket and on clicking the button for the required choice, it will be selected. The choice chosen will be removed from the left basket and gets added to right basket.

Candidates will have to click on the ‘Save & Continue’ tab.

Candidates may change the order of preference of choices by clicking on the Upper Arrow ./button to move up, Down Arrow button to move down and delete button to delete the pre-selected choice of institutes.

The choice Interchange (Swapping) could be carried out by selecting appropriate choices as source and destination to enable their swapping and reorder all the choices.

If a candidate desires to delete a specific or a group of choices, candidates can click the appropriate box, for deletion of the one choice. Further, if the candidate, desires to delete multiple choices, in one go, he/she can click the appropriate boxes for deletion and confirm the same, so that this operation could delete all unwanted choices.
MCC will release the seat allotment result on December 7. Based on the previous trends, it is likely that the provisional result will be declared on December 6 and candidates will have to report discrepancies till December 7 morning. There are as many as 5,930 MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing seats up for grabs in this round.
