The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has started the registration process for the NEET UG counselling 2022 Round 2 on November 3. Although originally the date of NEET UG counselling Round 2 registration commencement was November 2, it got delayed by a day. MCC did not state any reason for this delay, nor has it announced any change in the original schedule for this round. Incidentally, the resignation window for the Round 1 seats was reopened on November 2 till 7 pm. It is estimated that the reason for the delay was due to the ongoing seat resignation process. The last date of registration is November 7. The registration process is completely online. Eligible candidates will have to visit the official website of MCC to complete the process. NEET UG Counselling 2022 Round 2 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates fulfilling the following criteria would be eligible for participating in the second round of NEET 2022 counselling.

  • Candidates must have qualified for NEET 2022

  • Candidates must have registered in the Round 1 Counselling

  • In case they were allotted seats, they must have opted for seat upgradation or resignation

  • In case candidates have accepted the seats and reported to institutes, then they would not be eligible to participate in the NEET UG 2022 Round 2 counselling.

How to Register for NEET UG Counselling Round 2

Candidates have to follow the steps given below to complete the registration process of the second round of NEET 2022 counselling:

  • Visit the official website of MCC – mcc.nic.in

  • Click on the ‘Registration’ tab

  • Select the ‘New Candidate Registration’ from the drop down menu

  • Read the instructions

  • Enter the mandatory details such as NEET UG roll number, parent’s name, date of birth and security code

  • Select the password

  • The credentials will be generated and sent to the registered email address

  • Complete the registration form by entering personal, educational, NEET 2022 result and other details and uploading of scanned photograph and signature

  • Pay the registration fee and take a print out of the registration confirmation page

The Round 2 choice filling process is expected to begin tomorrow, November 4 onwards and the last date to submit choices is November 8. The choice locking window will be opened on November 8, from 3 pm to 11.55 pm. The seat allotment result of NEET UG counselling 2022 Round 2 will be declared on November 11.
