The medical fraternity is not pleased with the announcements of the National Medical Commission regarding the upcoming exam National Exit Test (NExT) exam. The medical students and doctors are opposing the exam for the 2019 batch under #NONEXTFOR19BATCH. Read here for more information.

Medical students across the country are protesting against the National Exit Test (NExT). The protest has been started in Rampurhat Government Medical College, West Bengal, Dr Radhakrishnan Government Medical College in Hamirpur, Rajasthan and other places.

The students are raising their voices under #NONEXTFOR19BATCH.

AIDSO All India Committee tweeted, "We appeal to all the students of the country to take initiative and active part to strengthen this movement."

"Protest again all over India. This is govt responsibility to atleast listen to students problems. We are democratic country. This is not a way that you come online via webinar, give some illogical speech finalize future of medicos," says another tweet.

"Dear prime minister Sir @narendramodi NMC is doing wrong with 2019 batch mbbs please help us they are applying next exam without giving us proper time to prepare they are changing pattern of the exam without completing the syllabus of 19 batch," said one tweet.

"This happen when u don't have opposition.... country moves from democracy to dictatorship," said another one.

"Imposing NeXT on 2019 batch is violation of clause 49 of NMC act because 2019 batch started on 1st Aug 2019 while NMC act was published on 08/08/2019..," added another tweet.

"#NMC forcefully putting #NEXT On 2019 batch. In the first 3.5 years of mbbs,students studied as per old pattern of exam and now suddenly they are told to face entire new pattern of exam," tweeted All India Students Dental Association/DENTODONTICS.
