NIMHANS invites applications for a certificate course by March 20

NIMHANS has invited applications for a three months certificate course in 'Social Work Practice in Psychiatric Disability Management' to be held between April 2023 to June 2023. The applications can be sent by March 20, 2023. The fee payable is INR 9000 which is non-refundable.

The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences (NIMHANS) has invited applications for a three months certificate course in 'Social Work Practice in Psychiatric Disability Management'.

The course is open to those who have obtained a Master's Degree in Social Work (full time) from a university recognized by UGC and approved by NIMHANS, securing not less than 55% marks in the aggregate of the Master's Degree as a whole.

Direct candidates, those deputed from other organizations and sponsored candidates from State/Central Government/Armed forces/Other NGO's can be admitted to the course. The three months full-time course will be held from April 2023 to June 2023. The fee payable on selection is INR 9000 which is non-refundable. Selection will be based on eligibility. The interested candidates must send an application through email or hard copy on plain paper along with the following documents - one page writes up on why they want to pursue the certificate course, bio data with a recent passport-size photograph, full postal address, email ID and phone number, and research and work experience related documents if any.

"The candidates need to make their own accommodation arrangements. Limited hostel accommodation may be offered only on prior request and is subject to availability - contact NIMHANS academic section upon selection," reads NIMHANS statement.
