NIS conducts counselling for admission to MD (Siddha) course

The counselling for admission to MD(Siddha) course in 8 specialities, viz. Pothu Maruthuvam, Gunapadam, Kuzhandhai Maruthuvam, Noi Naadal, Nanju Maruthuvam, Pura Maruthuvam, Varma Maruthuvam and Siddhar Yoga Maruthuvam for the academic year 22-23 was conducted by NIS on March 21, 2023.

The National Institute of Siddha (NIS) conducted the counselling for admission to MD(Siddha) courses in 8 specialities, viz. Pothu Maruthuvam, Gunapadam, Kuzhandhai Maruthuvam, Noi Naadal, Nanju Maruthuvam, Pura Maruthuvam, Varma Maruthuvam and Siddhar Yoga Maruthuvam for the academic year 22-23 on March 21, 2023.

NCISM has granted permission to this institute to conduct MD (Siddha) course in 8 specialities with an intake of 58 seats and 50% of the seats (29 seats) were already allotted by AACCC – Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee.

50% of the seats (29 seats) were filled by the counselling conducted on the basis of the AIAPGET marks secured by the candidates.

Prof. Dr R. Meenakumari, Director has handed over the allotment orders to the selected candidates and congratulated them for securing admission to the NIS.

NIS Recruitment: Walk-in-interview on March 30

NIS is to conduct a walk-in interview on March 30, 2023, at 11 am to fill up the anticipated vacancies of RMO, EMO, HO, MO and Veterinarian posts on a contract basis. There are a total of 8 vacancies for Resident Medical Officer, 2 for Emergency Medical Officer, 1 House Officer, 1 Medical Officer (For Tribal OPD), and 1 Veterinarian.

The essential qualification for RMO is MD in Siddha with relevant previous experience, additional qualifications, and research experience and publication. For detailed information on eligibility for various posts, interested candidates must visit the official website nischennai.org.
