NMC conducts survey on stipend paid to UG/PG students in Private Medical Colleges

Following the directions of the National Human Rights Commission, the National Medical Commission has started a survey on the stipend paid to undergraduate and postgraduate students in self-financed and private medical colleges. The identity of all those who will participate in the survey will be kept confidential, said NMC.

National Medical Commission (NMC) has commenced a survey on the stipend paid to undergraduate and postgraduate students in self-financed and private medical colleges. The survey was started after the directions from National Human Rights Commission. The last date to fill out the Google form for participating in the survey is May 7, 2023.

NMC's notification reads, "As per the direction of National Human Rights Commission, the National Medical Commission is conducting a survey among students studying in all Self Financed/Private Medical Colleges all over the country to ascertain the amount of stipend paid to the UG/PG students."

In compliance with the NHRC's directions, a Google form has been created which is available at the following link-https://forms.gle/HjVSfDNvVEMQ8ZoX6. All the UG students doing their internship and PG students are requested to fill up the form by May 7, 2023. It is assured that the identity of all those who will participate in the survey will be kept confidential and will not be disclosed to anyone, added the notification.

Section 1 which is introductory is to be filled by all students. Section A-I & A-II is to be filled only by UG students doing their internship and Section B-I & B-II is to be filled only by PG students. Section C is optional and one can submit comments related to the stipend in not more than 50 words.
