NMC urges medical colleges to furnish video recording of forthcoming MBBS exams

National Medical Commission has issued a public notice to notify that all medical colleges must furnish video recordings of forthcoming MBBS exams.

NMC notification in this regard say, "All Medical Colleges/Institutions/Deemed Universities are hereby directed to furnish the Video Recording of the forth coming annual Examinations for every phase of MBBS (1st MBBS, 2nd MBBS, 3rd-First MBBS and 3rd-Final) to be conducted by respective Colleges/Institutions/Deemed Universities alongwith completed STANDARD ASSESSMENT FORM- C (copy enclosed) through electronic link such as Google, Share point etc. to National Medical Commission on designated e-mail ug.exam@nmc.org.in immediately after the completion of the Examination."

"Further, it is intimated that the submission of above information is necessary for considering the proposals for grant of renewal of permissions. Failing of submission of above required recording/documents shall invite appropriate action as deemed fit. All permitted seats stand recognized as per MSMER 2023 dated 19th September, 2023," added the notification.

NMC issues notice regarding pending applications 

On the matter of the recent scrutiny process of applications received for Eligibility Certificates, NMC said, "Besides the list, all applicants who have not been issued Eligibility Certificates to date are also advised to ensure that deficiencies pointed out if any, are fulfilled at the earliest possible date in their own interest. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter. Timely rectification of the deficiencies will expedite the processing of the eligibility certificates and help the applicants move forward with their respective endeavors."

Earlier, NMC released the names of these 972 Indian medical aspirants who went to study medicine abroad without obtaining the Eligibility Certificate in India.
