Ramaiah Medical College conducts training program for interns, postgraduates

Ramaiah Medical College, Department of General Medicine, conducted training on the Management of Hyperglycemia in critical care and non-critical care settings on December 3, 2021.

Ramaiah Medical College has conducted training for interns and postgraduates on the Management of Hyperglycemia in critical care and non-critical care settings for postgraduates and interns.

The official tweet of the college says, "Department of General Medicine, Ramaiah Medical College conducted a Training Program on “ Management of Hyperglycemia in critical care and non critical care settings ( Focus on Insulins) “ for Interns and Postgraduates on 3rd December 2021 at Council Room, Ramaiah Medical College."

Hyperglycemia is a medical condition in which high glucose percentage is present in blood and it is a symptom that characterizes diabetes. 

Ramaiah Medical College is ranked 37 for Medical by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2021. The college is recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS). 

It offers MD, MS, and MBBS courses in all specialities, MCh and DM in super specialities, Masters (MPT), PG Diploma and PhD courses like PhD in Physiotherapy, Bachelors (BPT).

Other facilities offered in the college include a Cadaveric Research & Training Unit, Medical Skills Lab, and an advanced multimedia section with a seating capacity of 100 to see medical procedures virtually. The central library museum has five departments including one each for Forensic Medicine, Pathology, Pharmacology, Anatomy, and Microbiology. Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls.
