Candidates seeking admissions to MBBS and BDS courses in Tamil Nadu must note that the registration process for Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling 2021 is ending today, January 7, at 5 pm.
Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling 2021 registration for admission to MBBS and BDS courses had started on December 19. The candidates who want to participate in the counselling process must fill the registration form by today, January 7, up to 5 pm. The registration will close today after 5 pm.
The candidates must register at the official website tnmedicalselection.net.
The Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Chennai, is conducting Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling 2021 separately for government and management quota. There are separate links given on the official website for applying to both these quotas.
The eligibility criteria to apply for Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling 2021 are - candidates must be a citizen of India, they must have qualified for NEET 2021 and native of Tamil Nadu. Even if the candidate has passed Class 6 to Class 12 from any other state he/she should be a native of Tamil Nadu and must produce the birth certificate, ration card and school-leaving certificate/graduation certificate/degree/diploma/professional course/Class 10 passing certificate/Class 12 passing certificate of their parents. Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) registered under Section 7A of the Citizenship Act can also apply for Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling 2021, however, they will be treated as General Candidates.
To register for Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling 2021, the candidate must fill the online application form at the official website and take a printout and courier a copy of the filled application form along with required documents at the address: The Secretary, Selection Committee, 162, Periyar E.V.R High Road, Kilpauk, Chennai-10.
The documents needed for Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling 2021 are - NEET 2021 admit card, NEET 2021 result/scorecard, Class 10 mark sheet, Class 11 mark sheet, Marksheet of Class 12 or equivalent, Ration card/Passport, Community Certificate (if applicable), Aadhar Card, Domicile Certificate, Transfer Certificate from the school last studied, a bonafide certificate stating that the student has passed Class 6 to Class 12 from a school in Tamil Nadu.
