The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University to hire Vice Chancellor

The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University has invited applications for the post of Vice-Chancellor. The application process will close today, April 18, 2023. Interested candidates can apply latest by today. The duly filled-in application process can be sent by speed post to the university.

The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University is looking to hire a Vice-Chancellor. The application has been invited from the distinguished academicians with the highest level of competence latest by today, April 18, 2023.

The official notification reads, "The Government of Tamil Nadu vide GO (Ms) No. 10, Health and Family Welfare (MCA-2) Department, dated 04.01.2023 have constituted a Search Committee to recommend a panel of three names to The Hon'ble Governor-Chancellor for selection of Vice-Chancellor, The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai-32."

The search committee invited applications for the post of Vice Chancellor from distinguished academicians with the highest level of competence, morals, integrity, institutional commitment and possessing the educational qualifications and work experience as notified by the Government of Tamil Nadu in their GO MS No.07, Health and Family Welfare (MCA-2) Department, dated 04.01.2023 and published in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette vide Extraordinary Gazette No.05, dated 04.01.2023 copy of which is available in The Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University website (www.tnmgrmu.ac.in).

The Vice-Chancellor will hold the office for a period of three years provided the person appointed as VC shall retire from office, if, during the term of office, he/she attains the age of 70 years.
