The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Tripura has opened a correction window for the registered process. The window has been opened for 24 hours, from August 22, 2024, 3 PM, to August 23, 2024, 3 PM. Registered candidates have to with their registration credentials to make the necessary corrections.

The Tripura NEET 2024 counselling Round 1 registration process has concluded on August 21, 2024. After the conclusion of the registration process, the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Tripura has opened a correction window for the registered candidates. The window has been opened for 24 hours, from August 22, 2024, 3 PM, to August 23, 2024, 3 PM.

Registered candidates will have to log in to the official website of Tripura NEET 2024 counselling with their registration credentials and make the necessary corrections.

Announcing the same, DME Tripura has stated, “During online verification of documents of registered candidates in the Tripura NEET UG 2024 counselling portal, it has been observed that many candidates have uploaded wrong document or not uploaded the recommended document supporting the personal information of the candidates, which may lead to cancellation of candidature.”

Registered candidates must note that this is a one-time facility and once it lapses, candidates won’t be able to modify/rectify the uploaded documents.

DME Tripura will release the final merit list or the list of eligible candidates for Tripura NEET 2024 counselling Round 1 on August 23, 2024. The choice filling and locking processes will be conducted from August 23 to August 27, 2024.  The seat allotment result of Tripura NEET 2024 counselling will be declared on August 29, 2024.

Q:   Can I fill the application form for Tripura NEET Counselling offline?

A:

The application form for the first two rounds of Tripura NEET counselling will be available in online mode only. However, the mop up round registration form for Tripura NEET counselling will be released on the official website, which has to be filled and submitted offline at the DME Tripura office. The application or the registration fee also have to be paid offline through Demand Draft. Candidates must note that this process was followed last year and the application method may change this year. Hence, candidates are advised to follow the instructions provided by the counselling officials carefully. 

Q:   Where can I get my documents verified for Tripura NEET counselling?

A:

The Tripura NEET counselling document verification process is conducted offline. Candidates will have to visit the allotted institutes for document verification and admission fee payment. This will confirm the admission process. DME Tripura will specify the venue for the document verification or institute reporting process after the seat allotment result is declared for each round. They will either have to report to the allotted institutes, or have to visit the venue mentioned by the counselling authority for Tripura NEET counselling. 

Q:   Is it mandatory to carry original documents at the time of Tripura NEET UG counselling?

A:

Yes, it is mandatory to carry the original documents at the institute reporting process of the Tripura NEET UG counselling process. Although candidates can carry the photocopies as a backup, but during document verification, or the institute reporting process, they will have to present the original documents.
