Uttar Pradesh Director General, Medical Education (UPDGME) will begin UP NEET MDS stray vacancy round counselling registration 2024 today i.e. September 4, 2024. Students who are willing to take admission in Master of Dental Surgery programme at at government/ private medical and dental colleges in Uttar Pradesh can apply online based on NEET MDS scores. The UP NEET MDS counselling registration 2024 last date for the stray vacancy round is September 6, 2024. However, students are suggested to fill UP NEET MDS counselling form 2024 at the earliest to avoid last minute discrepancies. UP NEET MDS Counselling 2024: Important Guidelines for Stray Vacancy Round
UPDGME has released the UP NEET MDS admission guidelines 2024 as provided below:
- Only those candidates will be eligible for stray vacancy round, who has not been allotted any seat in any round of UP NEET MDS counselling 2024.
- Fresh registration for stray round is mandatory along with depositing a separate online registration fee of INR 2,000.
- Educational/reservation-related certificates shall be presented at the allotted Dental College/Nodal Centre to be considered for admission.
- Students who will not take admission after allotment in any college during stray vacancy round shall be debarred from UP NEET MDS counselling 2025-26.

Q: When will MCC conduct NEET MDS 2024 counselling?
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) announced the NEET MDS counselling 2024 Special Stray Vacancy round, was conducted from October 14 to October 25, 2024. Originally, the counselling process was conducted from July 1, 2024, to September 14, 2024. The NEET MDS cutoff was reduced by NBEMS, which led to the additional round of counselling process.
Those who qualified for NEET MDS with the cutoff marks are eligible to participate in the counselling process. Candidates have to register on the official website of MCC, which is mcc. nic. In and declare choice for college and course for counselling. It must be noted that whole counselling process is held online. MCC declares result for each round separately in PDF format.
