WB NEET UG round 3 list of verified candidates 2024 will be released today at wbmcc.nic.in followed by the choice filling and locking process till October 17, 2024, for students willing to apply for 85% of state quota MBBS and BDS seats across West Bengal State.  

WB NEET UG Counselling 2024

West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) will release the WB NEET UG list of verified candidates 2024 for the round 3 admission process today i.e. October 16, 2024. Students who have completed the round 3 registration will be able to check their status for further admission process with the help of WB NEET UG round 3 merit list PDF 2024. The WB NEET 2024 verified candidates list contains the names and details of students qualified to take part in the further choice-filling process.

The committee will begin the WB NEET UG 2024 round 3 choice filling and locking process once the round 3 merit list is made available. Students will be required to fill their college and course preferences during the WB NEET UG choice filling and locking process. The choice filling and locking process is an important step required during a counselling process. Hence, students are suggested to carefully add their choices and rearrange them as per their preference. However, students are suggested to first check the WB NEET round 3 seat matrix to know the list of vacant seats for their preferred course and institute.

Q:   I have scored 450 marks in NEET exam. Can I get government college through West Bengal NEET counselling?

A:

Applicants who want to take admission in government college through West Bengal NEET counselling must secure the passing percentage. To participate in the counselling students must secure the minimum qualifying marks in NEET exam in their respective categories. Since cutoff marks varies from category to category hence applicants need to secure the passing marks in their category.

Q:   How many rounds of counselling will be conducted by WBMCC for WB NEET counselling?

A:

There will be three rounds of counselling to be conducted by the WBMCC for WB NEET counselling. Fresh registration will be invited and accepted in each round of counselling. Candidates can opt out of counselling at any step adhering to the WB NEET UG seat surrender policy. Before each round of WB counselling, a seat matrix will be released for the candidates that will enable them exercise choice filling and locking option.

Q:   Will there be any additional round of counselling after the Round 3 WB NEET counselling?

A:

WBMCC organized a stray vacancy round after the Round 3 to fill the vacant seats. The stray vacancy round was the final round to fill up the vacant NEET UG seats in the state of West Bengal.
