MSDE, ISB sign MoU for capacity building of officer in its ecosystem

Under the partnership, ISB Hyderabad and Mohali campuses will conduct a five-day residential training session. 120 officers will attend the session from various divisions of MSDE divided into batches consisting of 30 people each.

The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) has collaborated with the Indian School of Business. The collaboration has taken place in order to undertake a capacity-building programme for MSDE officials, in accordance with 'Mission Karmayogi'. The programme aims for capacity building and modernising the mindset, methodology, and skill set of government employees.

Under the partnership, ISB Hyderabad and Mohali campuses will conduct a five-day residential training session. 120 officers will attend the session from various divisions of MSDE divided into batches consisting of 30 people each. A convocation ceremony was held for the first batch of 30 officers who finished their training at the ISB Mohali campus.

MSDE Management Development Porgamme Aims & Objective

The MSDE Management Development Programme aims at upskilling MSDE officers. The programme renders capacity-building training for a diverse group of officials, including MSDE officers, Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) Principals, Sector Skill Councils, CEOs, State Skill Mission Directors, and Jan Sikshan Sansthans (JSS) & National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) directors (NSDC).

It further aims at solidifying leadership skills in addition to developing a strategic mindset that will help to acquire insights into data analytics and digital transformation.

To instill cultural innovation in officers

The MSDE and ISB collaboration has collaborated with an aim to encourage the officials of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship to imbibe a culture of innovation within their respective organisations via strategic leadership and management development programmes.

The authority has strategically designed the batches to ensure continued success by encouraging cross-learning while embracing new challenges and comprehending complexities.
