National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute invites applications for PhD programme; Apply by May 31
The last date to submit the application form is May 31, 2022. The interview is tentatively fixed for June 22, 2022.
NABI PhD Admissions 2022
National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI), an autonomous R&D Institute Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, located in Mohali has invited applications for PhD degree program in Biotechnology in the areas of Agricultural biotechnology, Food Biotechnology and Nutrition Biotechnology. The institute is conducting admissions for July session 2022. NABI is conduct research at the interface of Agricultural Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Food processing, Postharvest technology, and Nutritional sciences.
Candidates must note that NABI is a recognized centre of Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), Faridabad to conduct PhD (Biotechnology). NABI will conduct the programme and degree will be awarded by an institute of national importance, RCB (www.rcb.res.in).
NABI PhD Admissions 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for PhD programme at NABI must hold MSc/MTech in any area of Life Sciences/MPharma/ MVSc/ MBBS or an equivalent degree with an aggregate of 55% (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PD). Qualifying a test conducted at the national level by UGC/CSIR/ICMR/DST/DBT or any other Government recognised agency is also mandatory.
Candidates who have appeared, or will be appearing, in the qualifying degree examination (final year/final semester) and whose result is still awaited may also apply.
NABI PhD Admissions 2022 Application and other details
Candidates enrolled under NABI PhD will have to avail the fellowship offered to them from the different granting agencies as per their rules. Applicants may download the application form and synopsis sheet from https://nabi.res.in/site/career. Candidates are required to send the filled application form along with a synopsis sheet in excel format by email as a single adobe pdf file to phdbiotechprog@gmail.com along with the transaction details of the application fee of INR 590/- to be paid online.
