MCC will close the NEET 2022 counselling round 1 choice filling today, and choice locking can be done between 5 pm on October 18 to 8 am on October 19, 2022.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will close the NEET 2022 counselling round 1 choice filling window today, October 18, 2022, and the choice locking can be done from today 5 pm to 8 am on October 19, 2022. 

MCC has added 197 more MBBS seats to the NEET UG round-1 seat matrix and has once again opened the registration window to accommodate the newly added seats. The fresh registration for the NEET 2022 Counselling round 1 was allowed till 2 pm today and payment of the NEET counselling registration will remain open till 4 pm today. The reset registration option was available till 12:30 pm today.

Applicants who had registered for NEET UG 2022 counselling can do the choice filling and choice locking. "Candidates can fill as many choices as they wish. However, choices should be in order of preference, as the allotment is done on the basis of choices submitted by the qualified candidate in order of preference given by the candidate and as per availability," said an MCC statement.

There will be four rounds of NEET UG 2022 counselling for the AIQ seats - AIQ Round 1, AIQ Round 2, AIQ Mop-up Round and AIQ Stray Vacancy Round. The candidates are advised to download the 'Sandes' app to receive updates regarding NEET UG 2022 counselling.
