Candidates are waiting for National Testing Agency (NTA) to announce the NEET 2022 notification and it is expected to be out next week. The registration process for NEET 2022 is likely to start from April 1, 2022, at the official website neet.nta.nic.in. 

The national entrance examination for admission to MBBS and BDS courses is likely to be postponed to July. 

NTA is yet to officially announce the NEET 2022 exam date. However, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, MoHFW had recommended the last two weeks of June as the suitable time for conducting NEET 2022. Earlier, the examination was expected to be conducted in June, but now it is likely to be held in July 2022.

NEET 2022: Authorities still contemplating exam date 

As per reports, the authorities are still contemplating the exam date for NEET 2022. “About 16 lakh students appear for the medical entrance test. There are a few big exams in June, including the CBSE Board Exams as well as a few State Board Exams. Logistics have to be sorted before a date can be shared,” said an NTA official, as reported by Times Now.

Experts have also said that there are already multiple examinations ending in June. Also, with many board exams, including CBSE Board Exams 2022 ending by mid-June, the NEET 2022 might be delayed.

While the NEET 2021 counselling is still not completed, NEET 2022 notification is expected soon and students are advised to keep checking the official website neet.nta.nic.in for the latest information on the examination.
