NEET official answer key 2022 will be released by NTA in tentatively on August 19. Since the NEET 2022 exam was conducted on July 17, the exam’s one month would be completed in a few days and the chance of releasing the NEET 2022 official answer keys is likely on or after August 17. Along with the answer keys, NTA will also release the NEET 2022 OMR sheets or candidates’ recorded responses.
NEET 2022 answer key challenge window will be opened on the same day and the window is likely to remain open for approximately three to four days. A fee of INR 200 has to be paid for filing objections against each response or answer key. NTA is expected to release the provisional NEET 2022 answer key today, August 19. As per reports, NTA is expected to release the NEET provisional answer keys in the third week of August.

What After NEET 2022 Official Answer Key Release?
After NTA releases the provisional NEET 2022 answer keys, candidates need to focus on the following activities or events:
- Check the NEET 2022 OMR sheets and provisional answer keys
- Calculate the aggregate score based on the marking scheme
- Decide whether to file objection against OMR sheet or answer keys
- If a candidate decides to file objection or challenge, he/she should send the email to NTA in the prescribed format within the given deadline and paying the requisite fee
- In case a candidate decides not to file objections, then he/she needs to wait for the final answer keys and result of NEET 2022.

No Option for Re-evaluation Post Final NEET Answer Key Release
Once the final NEET 2022 answer keys and results are declared, candidates will not be given the chance to re-evaluation or rechecking of their exam papers. NTA has stated the following reasons for this:
i. The OMRs are machine gradable and are being evaluated through specific software impartial to all.
ii. The candidates are given an opportunity to make the representation on the OMR gradation of their OMR sheets and also given an opportunity to challenge the answer key in case of any doubt.

Changes Introduced in NEET 2022
NEET 2022 underwent several changes in terms of exam pattern, application fee, centres, tie-breaking formula, etc. These changes are as follows:

The duration of NEET has been increased by 20 minutes. Instead of three hours, the exam will now be conducted for three hours and 20 minutes.

The application fee across candidate categories has been increased by INR 100.

The registration process will not be conducted over two phases.

The number of exam cities has increased to 543 in India and 14 abroad.

In case of two or more candidates obtain equal marks/percentile scores in the NEET 2022, the inter-se-merit will be determined as follows:

NEET 2022 Merit List
NTA will evaluate the NEET 2022 Answer Sheets of candidates using standard procedure and the result will be displayed on the official website of NEET. NEET 2022 - Moderate to Tough Test
As per the NEET 2022 analysis, the difficulty level of the exam was moderate to tough. The experts opined that the test was slightly tougher than last year but almost at the same level. While Physics was the toughest section, Biology was the easiest section despite having the highest weightage.
