Amid the growing demand to postpone the NEET PG 2022, the sources have said that NBE is all set to conduct it on May 21, 2022, as scheduled.

NEET PG 2022 unlikely to postpone, say sources

Despite NEET PG 2022 aspirants are demanding to postpone the exam which is scheduled to be conducted on May 21, 2022, reports are emerging that the government might not postpone the examination.

As per reports, Health Ministry has told the media that they are not planning to postpone the examination and this decision is reportedly taken in a meeting that was held on Saturday in presence of Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya.

The Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA) had written to Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya to postpone NEET PG 2022.

FAIMA also tweeted, "We had a discussion with @OfficeOf_MM & we hope to get time from Hon’ble Minister. We have been told to wait till then. We urge @mansukhmandviya to give time to FAIMA delegation asap Still requesting students to study till things take shape."

 

NEET PG 2022 Exam Details

It will be conducted to provide admission into 19,953 MD seats, 10,821 MS seats, and 1,979 PG Diploma seats offered by various medical colleges in India. The National Board of Examinations (NBE) released the application form on January 15. The exam will be conducted in computer-based mode at designated centres across the country. The question paper will be in English only. 

There will be 200 multiple choice questions in the exam paper and the candidates will be given 3.5 hours to answer questions in the exam. For each correct answer, candidates will get 4 marks while for negative answers, one mark will be deducted.
