Tamil Nadu Offers Highest Number of MBBS Seats in India
Tamil Nadu government added 17 new medical colleges that will add 2,350 MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) seats to the total number of seats in the state. TN has 69 medical colleges offering a total of 10,375 MBBS seats. As per the NMC website, it is the highest in the country.

Who Will Get Bonus Marks in NEET 2022?
Once the NEET 2022 final answer key is released, candidates will come to know whether their submitted challenges have been validated by NTA or not. Moreover, you may also check the answer options of questions which showed 5 as the correct answer option. For such questions, candidates will get a bonus of four marks. However, there is a caveat. The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has recently issued a notification related to admission to MBBS and BDS courses in medical and dental colleges in the state of Punjab for the session 2022 onwards. Will NEET 2022 Cutoff Reduce?
NTA has fixed the NEET cutoff percentile for each candidate category, which is 50 percentile for General/UR, 45 percentile for PwD (General/UR) and 40 percentile for OBC, SC, ST and PwD (SC/ST/OBC) categories. However, there may be an exception to this as well. NTA has stated, "Provided when a sufficient number of candidates in the respective categories fail to

Overall merit list: This merit list includes the names and ranks of all the candidates who appeared for NEET 2022. This is the first merit list and is prepared by NTA. This merit list will be forwarded to all counselling bodies, both national and state.
15 per cent AIQ merit list: This merit list will contain the names of only those candidates who would qualify for the NEET 2022 result. This merit list is prepared by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
State quota merit list: Every state will prepare their individual merit lists for admissions to 85 per cent of state quota seats. These merit lists will include only those candidates who will qualify for NEET result 2022 and register for the counselling of that respective state.

Although NTA has not stated a specific time for releasing the NEET 2022 result, it is estimated that the scorecards will be released by 12 noon, or afternoon today. What is the Difference Between NEET 2022 Scorecard and Merit List?
The primary difference between NEET scorecard and merit list is that the former is an individual document whereas the latter is a common document. The NEET 2022 scorecard will carry information pertaining to the candidate's score, rank, percentile and other personal details such as name, photograph and signature, the merit list will carry the AIR, scores and percentiles of all candidates who had appeared for the exam.

No Option for Rechecking NEET 2022 Result
Candidates will not be given a chance to re-evaluate or recheck the final NEET 2022 answer keys or exam papers. NTA has stated the following reasons for this:
i. The OMRs are machine gradable and are being evaluated through specific software impartial to all.
ii. The candidates are given an opportunity to make the representation on the OMR gradation of their OMR sheets and also given an opportunity to challenge the answer key in case of any doubt.
