NEET UG 2022 aspirants urge exam deferment
After writing to National Testing Agency (NTA) and demanding to postpone NEET UG 2022, the aspirants are still demanding exam deferment on the social media platform.
NEET UG 2022 is all set to be conducted on July 17. However, the aspirants are demanding to postpone the examination due to an insufficient gap between NEET UG 2021 counselling and NEET UG 2022 exam date. The exam date is also clashing with that of other entrance examinations.
The NTA has opened the online NEET UG 2022 application correction window on its official website neet.nta.nic.in and aspirants can make changes in the application form by May 27, 2022, up to 9:00 PM.
The official notification reads, "The candidates are allowed to make the corrections, latest by 27 May 2022 (up to 09:00 PM). Thereafter, no correction in particulars, whatsoever, will be entertained by NTA under any circumstances. The additional fee (wherever applicable) shall be paid by the candidate concerned either through Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI and PAYTM."
NEET UG 2022 aspirants demand extra time to prepare
One of the aspirants said on Twitter that the students must get more time to prepare. The tweet says, "Dear nta , Please postpone neet ug 2022 for atleast 4 to 6 weeks so that we can get some additional time! Please accept our pleas ! Postpone neet ug 2022 Pls support us for this one last time ! Please change the date kindly and reduce pressure upon us ! #PleaseDelayNEETUG @DG_NTA"
Echoing similar concerns, another tweet says, "Isn't it more logical to give students the time that they need to prepare for such an important exam rather than making them wait for months while the authorities delay the process of counseling? The new session is to commence from 2023 anyway."
