NEET UG Counselling 2021: MCC notifies about female-only colleges
Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has notified NEET UG Counselling 2021 candidates that four medical colleges and six BSc nursing colleges are exclusively for female candidates.
On noticing that many NEET UG Counselling 2021 male candidates have opted for choices that are exclusively for female candidates, Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has notified about the female-only colleges and choices.
The official notice reads, "It has come to notice of MCC that many male candidates have opted choices for Medical Colleges/ B.Sc (Nursing) colleges which are exclusively for Female candidates (List enclosed below). Such male candidates who have exercised choices for ‘Female only Colleges’ are requested to edit their choices, already exercised, and not to pick those choices again. However, if male candidates have opted for female colleges, such choices will be deleted at the time of seat processing for Round-1, by the system."
For MBBS, only female colleges are - Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi (College Code 200448), BPS Govt. Medical College for Women, Sonepat (College Code 200145), Sri Padmavati Medical College for Women (SVIMS), Tirupati (College Code 200434), Symbiosis Medical College for Women, Pune (College Code 200527).
For BSc Nursing, only female colleges are Ahilya Bai College of Nursing, New Delhi (College Code 200541), College of Nursing, Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi (College Code 200542), Florence Nightingale College of Nursing, New Delhi (College Code 200543), College of Nursing, Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi (College Code 200544), Rajkumari Amrit Kaur College of Nursing, New Delhi (College Code 200545), College of Nursing, Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi (College Code 200546).
