NEET 2021 Counselling Mop-up Round Institute Reporting Begins

The institute reporting process for candidates allotted seats in the Mop-up Round of NEET 2021 counselling has started today, on March 24. The last date of institute reporting is March 29. The provisional seat allotment result for the Mop-up round was declared on March 23 and the final result was declared on March 24. Candidates who have been allotted a seat in the second last round of NEET 2021 counselling will have to report to the institutes in physical or online mode.

MCC has stated, “Candidates are requested to proceed for Physical/ Online Reporting (E-Joining) to the allotted college as per schedule after downloading their Provisional Allotment Letters from MCC website.”

As many as 4,800 candidates have been allotted MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing seats in the NEET 2021 counselling Mop-up round. While 3,880 candidates have been allotted MBBS seats, 778 and 222 candidates have been allotted BDS and BSc Nursing seats respectively. As per the seat vacancy list released prior to the choice filling process, there were 6,285 seats in the participating institutes.

How to Participate in Institute Reporting

Candidates need to follow the steps given below to participate in the online institute reporting process:

  • Visit the official NEET 2021 counselling website – mcc.nic.in

  • Click on the ‘Online Registration’ tab

  • Login with registration credentials

  • Click on the tab indicating online reporting

  • Upload the documents and follow other instructions

Documents Required for Institute Reporting

Selected candidates will have to carry or upload the following documents for the institute reporting process:

  • NEET admit card 2021

  • NEET result 2021 or rank letter

  • Class 10 mark sheet and certificate

  • Class 12 mark sheet and certificate

  • Valid, non-expired and government-issued photo ID proof

  • Six to eight passport-sized photographs (preferably the same as the one submitted with the NEET 2021 application form)

  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)

  • Disability Certificate (if applicable)

  • Provisional allotment letter

For NRI/OCI/PIO/Foreign National candidates, the following documents are required:

  • Passport copy of sponsorer, embassy certificate

  • Sponsorship affidavit (stating that sponsorer is ready to bear the expenses for the whole duration of the study)

  • Relationship Affidavit (Relation of Candidate with the sponsor)

After this, there would be only one round of NEET UG 2021 counselling remaining, which is the Stray Vacancy round. The seat allotment result will be released on March 31 and the institute reporting process will be conducted from April 1 to April 5.
