As per reports, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is not going to change the schedule of any of these major entrance examinations i.e. NEET-UG, CUET, and JEE (Main).

NEET-UG, CUET, JEE (Main) 2022 to be conducted as per schedule

The three major competitive exams including National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2022, Common University Entrance Test-UG (CUET-UG) and Joint Entrance examination (JEE - main) are all scheduled to be conducted between July to August 2022.

As per the TOI report, senior officials from the ministry of education have confirmed that none of these examinations are going to be rescheduled and all these exams will be conducted as per the schedule.

Amid the growing demand for NEET UG 2022 deferment, the reports suggest that it is unlikely that the examination is going to be postponed. The NEET UG 2022 candidates are saying that they have less time for preparations and also the exam date is clashing with that of other exams. Similarly, CUET UG 2022 candidates are also demanding exam postponement on the social media platform.

CUET UG is scheduled between July 15 to August 10, NEET UG to be conducted on July 17 and JEE Main to be conducted from July 21 to July 30. More than 9.5 lakh aspirants have registered for the CUET, and for NEET UG 2022, nearly 18.72 lakh candidates have registered.

Exams unlikely to postpone like the previous year

The officials have said that, unlike the previous years when examinations were rescheduled multiple times due to Covid-19 waves, there is no such reason this time for postponing the examination and all agencies and institutions are now trying to bring the academic calendar to the pre-pandemic period.

A senior government official said, "Exams are on schedule. The last two academic sessions were already distrusted for various reasons, pandemic being the primary. We are trying to bring that on track and that can happen only when we conduct the exams on time. Students should not get misguided by any rumours or claims by private coaching institutes of any postponement."
