The seat allotment process has got delayed because the National Institute of Fashion Technology is yet to complete the document verification process.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), which was slated to release the seat allotment for the PwD category on June 8, will now release the allotment around June 10 (as per NIFT sources). The source informed that around 27,000 students have registered for the NIFT 2022 counseling process and the document verification process for these candidates isn’t over yet.

The allotment of seats will be made once the verification process is complete.

This year, the NIFT 2022 seat allotment is conducted separately for the PwD and non-PwD categories. There is one allotment round for PwD, and five allotment rounds for non-PwD category.
