NIMHANS invites application for Social Work Practice in Psychiatric Disability Management course

The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) Bengaluru has invited the application for the "Social Work Practice in Psychiatric Disability Management" certificate course latest by March 20.

The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) Bengaluru is offering a three months certificate course in "Social Work Practice in Psychiatric Disability Management" from April 2022 to June 2022.

The application for the course can be sent as a hard copy or soft copy with supporting documents titled 'Certificate Course on Social Work Practice in Pshychiatric Disability Management' latest by March 20 to The Professor and Head, Department of Psychiatric Social Work, Dr MV Govindaswamy Center (First Floor) NIMHANS, Bangalore-560029.

As per the notification, the candidates need to make their own accommodation arrangements. Limited hostel accommodation may be offered only on prior request and is subject to availability.

Documents needed to be sent along with application

The documents required are:

• One page write up on why they want to pursue the certificate course.
• Bio data with a recent passport size photograph, full postal address, email-ID and phone number.
• Research and work experience related documents, if any.

Eligibility criteria for the course

• The course is open to those who have obtained Master's Degree in Social Work (full time), from a university recognized by UGC and approved by NIMHANS with minimum 55% aggregate marks.
• Direct candidates, those deputed from other organizations and sponsored candidates from State/Central Government/Armed Forces/Other NGO's can be admitted to the course.
