A final year BTech student of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Kurukshetra has bagged job at Microsoft during the annual recruitment drive conducted at the NIT campus.

NIT Kurukshetra Placements 2022: A final year BTech student of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Kurukshetra has bagged job at Microsoft during the annual recruitment drive conducted at the NIT campus. Kumud Shandilya, a Bhiwani resident, has been offered an annual package of INR 51 lakh by software company Microsoft during NIT Kurukshetra Placements 2022. Her father Praveen Sharma informed that Kumud is in the final year of her BTech from NIT, Kurukshetra, and she will get the placement on completion of her degree.

According to media reports, the highest package offered during NIT Kurukshetra placements 2022 stood at INR 51 LPA. The package was offered by a leading software company. Earlier, the highest package and average package offered during NIT Kurukshetra BTech placements 2021 were INR 43.75 LPA and INR 11.37 LPA, respectively. Further, 415 students out of 731 students were placed during NIT Kurukshetra BTech placements 2021.

NIT Kurukshetra NIFR Ranking 2022

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Kurukshetra made it to the list of top 50 engineering colleges in the NIRF Rankings 2022. With an overall score of 50.11, the engineering institute got placed on the 50th position.

NIT Kurukshetra National Conference

On the diamond jubilee of NIT, Kurukshetra, the Department of Physics organised the "10th National conference on nanoscience and instrumentation technology (NCNIT-2022)". Professor Ashavani Kumar, Dr PK Satyawali and Dr SR Vadera discussed the characteristics of nanomaterials and how changing those characteristics could lead to the creation of technology that could be applied to everyday problems and for the welfare of society. Dr B V R Reddy, Director, NIT, Kurukshetra, acknowledged that such conferences were beneficial since they gave students the chance to interact with scientists, opening the door for new collaborations and a variety of pathways for pursuing their research. More than 100 students and research scientists then presented their ideas during two technical sessions using a hybrid mode for oral and poster presentations.
