NLU Delhi in association with SOAS University of London is organising a two week online certificate course on Climate Justice and Climate Law.

The National Law University (NLU) Delhi and SOAS University of London are jointly offering Summer School course on Climate Law & Climate Justice for free of cost from 27 June 2022 to 8 July 2022.

The two week online certificate course titled 'Climate Justice and Climate Law: South-North Perspectives' will focus on the intersection between climate justice and climate change law and policy, framed around understanding justice linked to equity within and among countries, said the official announcement.

The course will emphasise on global South-global North dimensions of the international climate change regime and will focus on India as one significant example for understanding climate justice at the national level.

Climate Law & Climate Justice Course Elligibility Requirement

NLUD's notification says that the enrolment will be limited and highly selective as the course demands extensive interactions. The eligible candidates are:

Candidates with an undergraduate degree in any field (law, environmental science, development studies, political science, economics or any other discipline) from a recognised university (for Indian students, with a minimum of 55% marks, in the UK, a 2:1 or equivalent elsewhere).

Students enrolled for Undergraduate, Post-Graduate and Doctoral Programmes in any field and working professionals.

The last date to apply is May 15, 2022 and certificate course shall have an intake of 30 students. 5 seats each shall be reserved for students from SOAS and NLU-D.
