NTA announces examination schedule for SWAYAM courses January 2023 Semester; Application deadline Sept 20

UGC has shared the examination dates for SWAYAM courses offered in the January 2023 Semester. UGC has requested Higher Education Institutions to encourage the faculty members and students to appear and submit the online examination application form for the SWAYAM examination for the courses offered in the January 2023 semester.

University Grants Commission has informed that the National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the schedule of examination for the SWAYAM courses offered in the January 2023 Semester. The online submission of the application form is scheduled from August 31 to September 20, 2023. The last date for successful transaction of fee through credit/debit card/net banking/UPI is September 21, up to 11:50 pm.

The editing in the application form can be done on the website from September 23 to September 25, 2023. The examination dates are October 19, October 20, and October 21, 2023. The downloading of admit cards from the NTA website will be announced later on the NTA website. 

The medium of the question paper will be English, except in language courses where the question paper will only be in the respective language.

How to apply for SWAYAM courses offered in the January 2023 Semester

To apply, the candidates need to follow these steps:

• Apply for Online Registration using your own Email ID -Use the same email ID used for Registration on the SWAYAM portal.
• Fill in the Online Application Form and upload a photograph, signature, category/PwD certificate if applicable
• Pay fees using the Payment Gateway(s) integrated into the Online Application through Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card / Paytm/UPI / Wallet and keep proof of fee paid.
